List of observations from the week:
1. The human brain is supposed to be fully developed by age 25. I don't really buy that completely, but just in case I have been trying to cram a few years of mental development into these last few weeks. So far, so good.
2. I don't take life seriously enough. You wont catch me watching the stock market and wearing pant suits anytime soon, but I would like to find the things worth investing myself into. Not so sure what that looks like yet.
3. I have been extremely fortunate to have been surrounded by the people I have in my time here in Cleveland. It is like a concentration of solid human beings. I don't know if this is limited to my college days, but I sure hope not.
4. Full circle sometimes looks more like an oval or one of those crazy straws. There are no straight lines from point A to point B. Furthermore, I am convinced that A and B are myths themselves.
5. Being a person of consistency has become so much more important to me this year.
6. I don't take nearly enough risks every day. This does not look like bungee jumping (though, I did do that a few weeks ago). Instead, for me, it looks like speaking up even when it might not be well-received. This has changed my life.
7. I like lists. Like this one. And the one of things I want to do before I die and the one for things I want to make. Etc.
8. If I don't leave Cleveland next year, it wont be a failure. If I don't at least try, it might be.
9. My three favorite things currently in my line of vision are my lamp with eyes and a mustache, my piece of art- "Not so United, America," and an image of Jesus painted on a piece of wood from Romania (from Kate!)
10. Currently listening to "Bull Black Nova" by Wilco.
11. If I die, please bury me in my cape.
That. Is. All.
